Wavemaker Hospitality introduces AMOH, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes, Now Open
Wavemaker Hospitality announces the opening of AMOH, a Luxury Collection Resort which introduces a new high-end hospitality offering to Rhodes. Representing a strategic expansion of the group’s premium portfolio, the resort opened its doors on the 28th of April.
The opening of a luxury resort in Rhodes reflects Wavemaker Hospitality’s continued investment, supporting the growing appeal for experiential stays on the island. AMOH Rhodes is the first resort on the island to join Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, strengthening Rhodes’ presence within the luxury segment.
Located on a private peninsula near the town of Lindos, the resort offers unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea with direct access to two exclusive sandy beaches. Its setting combines strong destination appeal with proximity to one of Rhodes’ most visited cultural landmarks.
AMOH Rhodes draws inspiration from the history of the land and the ancient on-site quarry that was once a place of work and maritime trade that continues to shape the landscape centuries later. Led by architect Savvas Kampouropoulos and the award-winning London design firm Studio Lost, the resort reflects a considered approach to materiality, incorporated through reinterpreted mosaics and timeless motifs that pay tribute to Greek heritage and craftsmanship as well as the use of the same stone once extracted from the quarry within the resort’s grounds.
The resort features 197 rooms and suites, including options with private pools and expansive sea views, designed to meet the expectations of high-end leisure travellers seeking privacy and exclusivity.
AMOH Rhodes’ gastronomy presents eight restaurants and bars, from Mediterranean and Italian to seafood and steakhouse. The AMOH Signature Dining Experience allows guests to explore a curated section of outlets, each with a distinct culinary identity, supporting longer stays and experiential travel trends.
The ELISPA Wellness Retreat is the signature spa concept of the resort, inspired by the infinite curve, where the treatments are structured around the four elements. Facilities include 220 m² Technogym fitness centre, a Reformer Pilates studio, an indoor-outdoor pool and a tennis court.
A defining element of the resort experience is AMOH’s Epicurean Moments that offer guests a chance to immerse themselves in Rhodian traditions. From daily olive oil tastings inspired by the 276 olive trees that surround the property to a weekly ritual of sunset aperitivo by the fire pit, each experience forms an engaging gastronomic and cultural programme throughout the stay.
AMOH, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes is designed for discerning leisure travellers and couples seeking privacy, high-quality dining and lifestyle experiences. Its opening marks a significant development in Rhodes’ premium hospitality landscape, enforcing the island’s position as a luxury destination.
